Mendoza, Argentina, jun 17 - jun 20, 2012

Mendoza is famous for its wineries. 70% of Argentina's wine is produced in this region. We went to close-bye Maipu for some food and wine tasting. We ended up in only one of many wineries and a olive factory. We liked both places quite a lot and got stuck there. It was interesting to learn about the involved processes and of course enjoyed the delicous end products. :) The second day we did an organized tour into the central Andes and saw Americas highest Mountain the Aconcagua. The mountain scenery was stunning and we were able to enjoy perfect weather and snow! The city Mendoza itself did not appeal to us too much, but to be fair we also didn't have much time to discover it (therefore I don't have any photos).
