Kashgar, China, sep 15 - 16, sep 18 - 19 and sep 20 - 22, 2011

Kashgar was our base for exploring parts of the Xinjiang province. We had to take four long flights to get from Hong Kong to Kashgar! In the end it was totally worth the painfully long and expensive travel! The mix of Uighur, Tajik, Krgyyz, Uzbek and Chinese culture makes this region a very special place. Walking through the sunday and livestock markets and the old town leaves you with unforgetable memories and takes you back a few centuries in time.
