Valparaíso, Chile, jul 27 - jul 30, 2012
We stayed at a b&b between Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, close to the Placeres metro station. At the ocean front there is a fishing port. The fishermen throw fish and crab scraps they can't use back into the ocean. That makes the south American sea lion colony, peruvian pelicans, inca terns and thousands of gulls very happy. :) What a photographer's paradise! The city of Valparaíso is built from the ocean front into many hills behind it. The colorful houses alone make this city worth a visit.
