Puerto Natales, Chile, jul 6 - jul 14, 2012
We went to Puerto Natales where we would catch our Navimag Ferry to Puerto Montt. Unfortunately, once we got there, we discovered that the ship, the Evangelista, wasn't running due to a mechanical defect. A smaller ferry, the Amadeos I, was on the way from Puerto Montt as a replacement, but it wasn't going to arrive for another five days. We decided to stick around in Puerto Natales since we really liked the city and its vibe, its pub with microbrewery, the unbelievably beautiful Sound and the b&b we were staying in. And best of all: We managed to go twice to one of the most beautiful places we've seen so far, the Torres del Paine National Park!
