Chile, jul 04 - aug 07, 2012

Chile is a very diverse country. It stretches 4300km from southern Tierra del Fuego to Atacama, the driest desert in the world, in the north. The nature is amazing: We fell in love with Torres del Paine national park, the Patagonia fjords, the unexpected wildlife around Valparaíso and of course the marvelous Atacama desert region. We found the infrastructure to be exceptionally good and the Chilenos were always friendly and helpful. Chilean Spanish, especially in the south, takes a lot of time to get used to. We had a great time in a lovely country!
