Siem Reap, Cambodia, jul 09 – jul 22, 2011

The city Siem Reap felt like a tourist island in Spain: not what we are looking for. Masses of tourists come here for the temples of Angkor, and with them their money. Sadly not for the people, but for the foreign investors and the government. But none the less, the temples can be described with one word: breathtaking! You can easily spend one week exploring and still find yourself amazed by the temples and surrounding jungles. We went to the cello concert of Dr. Beat Richner, which we recommend for every visitor of Siem Reap and the mighty Angkor temples.
