Monkey Mia, Australia, may 03 - may 04, 2012

On the way to Monkey Mia we made a brief stop at the shell beach. As the name suggests the beach is full of shells! Monkey Mia is World-famous for the wild dolphins that turn up in the shallow water for feeding each day. It was our first time seeing wild dolphins, what lovely animals they are! Two around 4 month old young dolphins were joining the group and performed even a few jumps for us. :) Jenny got picked out of the crowed to feed one of the dolphin with a fish. The wild Australian pelicans were really fascinating too, as were the cheeky wild emus. A great place for watching wildlife!
